Why a Hilux and why a cabin from Fourwheelcamper?

Anyone who has ever traveled around the world has certainly noticed that the world drives Toyota.

The Toyota Hilux is extremely common and popular worldwide. Especially in Africa, South America and Australia.

If you are looking for a vehicle with which you can potentially travel around the world, you need a vehicle that is also available worldwide. Our Hilux is a 2.4 SR with manual transmission and double cab. We found the double cab in our rental Hilux in Africa extremely practical. The possibility of using the space behind the front seats as storage and/or as space for a refrigerator is an ideal solution for us.

Our camper comes from the USA from Fourwheelcamper. The camper is a pop-up cabin, which means that the roof is folded down while driving, making the cabin very small and compact. Conversely, when the roof is up, it is very spacious with full headroom.

What makes the camper unique in our eyes is the sheer amount of space. When traveling, it's not always nice, warm summer weather. You won't always be able to stay outside and that's where the big advantage of a camper from Fourwheelers comes into play. You can comfortably stay in the camper as a couple without putting your marriage at risk.

Due to the low construction height with the roof lowered, it is also ideal for shipping in a container if necessary.  With the 4 original supports, the camper is easily and quickly removed from the car. For example, you can leave it at the campsite or at home, which means you have the car free and can use it as a normal everyday car.
